Milan Vučenović becomes 2016 OGO Sense Software Engineer Scholar
We are proud to announce that Milan Vučenović was selected as a 2016 OGO Sense Scholar! During the reception organized in his honor, CEO Ivana Budisa awarded Milan his certificate and a check on 1,000.00KM. Other OGO Sense employees attended the ceremony and congratulated him.
The scholarship process was very competitive and all 17 applicants were very good which did not make it easy for the selection team to choose the scholarship recipient. However, Milan did stand out from the other outstanding students with his professional interest and community involvement.
Milan is the second year student at the College of Electrical Engineering in Banja Luka. He is the Vice President of Union of Students of Electrical Engineering and a member of Scientific Council of the College. Also, he is an emergency aid instructor, a member of the Red Cross Youth Club committee, plays folklore for years and is a fluent English speaker.
He is currently attending the OGO Sense mobile development internship and previously took 2 Microsoft courses: Software Development Fundamentals and HTML5 Application Development which sparked his interest in programming. His future plan is to learn how to apply his knowledge and then start up his own company.
OGO Sense is looking forward to supporting many other intelligent and ambitious students like Milan and is encouraging them to apply for future scholarship, internship and employment opportunities..
While receiving the scholarship, Milan Vučenović said:
"First of all, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to be here with you today. I feel so grateful and honored that you chose me for your scholarship. Above all, this scholarship represents for me the motivation to work harder to accomplish the goals that I set to myself, and I take this as a sign that I'm on a good way to do that. In addition to the faculty, I try to give my contribute tо our community through volunteering in Red Cross. It is of great importance to me to see that my work and efforts are appreciated. I sincerely hope that I will justify your trust and that you will be proud of my future accomplishments. I believe in the power of knowledge to transform lives and changes situations for the better."
